Winter 2015- Matthew Fowler, as a member of the Preservation Leadership Forum, attended the National Trust for Historic Preservation Annual Conference on Preservation Law held at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Topics included sustainable historic preservation and recent work by the Preservation Green Lab of the National Trust, and historic restoration tax credits.
Summer 2018 - Major construction is complete on the Henry House on Summerland Key, FL and interior work is completed. Owners have started landscaping and other sitework improvements.
Winter 2015- The final design and structural construction documents have been completed for the San Marco House on Big Pine Key, FL. The next phase is to complete the construction documents for bidding, permitting, and construction.
Spring 2016- Restoration and renovation of the San Giovanni House in Southern Tuscany, Italy has been completed! The work included the farmhouse and barn. Some sitework and landscaping are ongoing, providing the finishing touches for this extensive renovation.
Summer 2018 - Exterior restoration of the Pine Hill House in the village of Pine Hill, NY in the Catskill Mountains continues through Fall 2018. Repair and painting of exterior porches, handrails, and the captain's walk are in progress, and window sash restoration will take place off-site during the winter.
Winter 2015 - Matthew Fowler attended and participated in MiamiGreen 2015, South Florida and the Caribbean's annual three day conference on sustainable green construction and design. Topics included the latest developments in sustainable design for high-humidity tropical environments, design for passive air-cooling, and solar energy. The topics covered served to further enhance our USGBC Green Associate accreditation.
Winter 2018 -Construction has been completed on the Caribbean House on Summerland Key, FL, and owners have taken occupancy!
